Princess Maker: Children of Revelation Money Guide
Where the gold goes
Lessons are charged per day and are the biggest cost in a run. Food (0 to 110 gold a month), Free Time (15 a day), vacations (30 a day), gifts and peddler items come next. Stat-heavy endings like Queen also need a pile of gold for stat items before the 1217 banquet.
Ways to earn
| Source | Notes |
|---|---|
| Part-time jobs | The Ranch is the classic early earner; pay rises with rank and each promotion pays a one-time bonus |
| Critical successes | A purple swirl on a work day adds extra gold |
| Cooking contest | Open from age 10; Artistic Cuisine card helps you win |
| Martial tournament | Gold for every fight won; one video shows 1,000 gold for the title |
| Selling loot | Swamp clams to the peddler (price raised in 0.9.7); With Charles card raises store sale prices |
| Farm income | One playthrough shows +100 gold a month from the farm |
Money fate cards
- Let Money Make Money (Head of a Housekeeping Service Company ending): +4% of your gold every month. It was 5% until 0.9.7, when the developer admitted it “underestimated the terror of compound interest”.
- A Stable Civil Servant (Royal Clerk, listed as Scholar on the wiki): more starting gold.
- Mysterious Income (King of the Back Alleys): extra gold each month.
- With Gracillis / With Cresty: gold on your daughter’s or your own birthday each year.
- Princess Maker (Princess ending): free lessons, the biggest saving of all.
The Rich ending
Hold 20,000 gold and a visitor offers an investment. Accept it. One video says to finish with 50,000 or more. The matching achievement, Pinnacle of Wealth, was at 18.1% on launch day; A Heavy Purse (hold 20,000) was at 37.0%.
